ITU Telecom World 2014

Call for speaker nominations

The global ICT ecosystem is undergoing a radical transformation. Not keeping pace with the advances risks not fully understanding the threats posed and opportunities offered. ITU Telecom World 2014, taking place in Doha from 7 – 10 December, is a unique chance to confront the new realities and explore future scenarios of the industry – and to better understand the impact on our lives and businesses.

Speaking at ITU Telecom World 2014

We look for nominations for world-class speakers at ITU Telecom World events with expertise in policy, business or technology to provide insights into the future of the ICT sector. Prospective speakers should be senior-level representatives from governments, regulatory bodies and industry, thought leaders, innovators, or entrepreneurs from across the ICT ecosystem willing to contribute to panel discussions and engage in debates with our global, influential and diverse audience.

We ask for details of the nominated speaker(s) in the form of a brief biography (approximately 200 words), and an indication of the areas in which they could contribute their expertise in an interactive panel session, to be submitted to forum.telecom@itu.int.

The Call for Speaker Nominations for ITU Telecom World 2014 has ended. Please note that late nominations may still be considered but are less likely to be included in the programme.

Shaping the discussion

ITU Telecom is keen to work with partners looking to invest their expertise and mutually develop specific topic streams. Areas of particular interest include those that extend into different vertical sectors, and can enhance knowledge-sharing and networking on an inter-industry basis. All sessions should remain neutral in perspective and should be developed in close collaboration between ITU and the partner.
